How Jennifer Aniston’s LolaVie brand grew sales 40% with CTV ads
For its first CTV campaign, Jennifer Aniston’s DTC haircare brand LolaVie had a few non-negotiables. The campaign had to be simple. It had to demonstrate measurable impact. And it had to be full-funnel.
LolaVie used Roku Ads Manager to test and optimize creatives — reaching millions of potential customers at all stages of their purchase journeys. Roku Ads Manager helped the brand convey LolaVie’s playful voice while helping drive omnichannel sales across both ecommerce and retail touchpoints.
The campaign included an Action Ad overlay that let viewers shop directly from their TVs by clicking OK on their Roku remote. This guided them to the website to buy LolaVie products.

Good morning. The Nasdaq closed at a record on Monday, and today's calendar is light: one trade report at 8:30 AM ET while earnings season gets a slow start.
The Market Gauge
Monday's close: the S&P 500 rose 0.66% to 7,773.95, the Nasdaq composite gained 1.05% to a record close of 27,477.31, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average added 0.18% (90.94 points) to 51,267.90.
Growth stocks did the heavy lifting. Nvidia rose 2.1% and closed above its buy point, Taiwan Semiconductor broke out of a base, and the CapForce IBD 50 ETF (FFTY) gained 1.6%. Brazilian stocks jumped after a surprise first-round election result. Oil fell about 2% to roughly $89.25 a barrel. The one worry that hasn't gone away: the 10-year Treasury yield ticked up 3 basis points to 5.31%. Investor's Business Daily counted nine new breakouts on its MarketSurge list Monday, a sign buyers are still willing to pay up for leading stocks.
Beginner note: A “basis point” is one hundredth of a percentage point, so a 3 basis point rise takes the 10-year yield from 5.28% to 5.31%. Small daily moves add up, and higher yields make bonds more competitive with stocks.
On today's calendar
Trade balance (8:30 AM ET): August's gap between what the U.S. sells to other countries and what it buys from them, released with an early read on September goods trade. It rarely moves the market much on its own, but it feeds into estimates of economic growth.
Neogen earnings (after the close, call 4:30 PM ET): The food-safety testing company is one of the first to report for the third quarter. Think of it as a warm-up; the big banks report next week.
Later this week: Minutes from the Fed's September 15-16 meeting, the one that delivered the first rate hike since 2023, come out Wednesday afternoon. Delta Air Lines reports Friday before the open, and the University of Michigan's consumer sentiment survey is also out Friday.
On the radar: Shopify
$SHOP ( ▲ 5.76% ) Shopify builds the online stores that small and medium-size businesses use to sell their products, from the checkout page to payments. The stock jumped 5.76% on Monday to 160.11, moving past a 158.87 buy point from a cup-with-handle base on its weekly chart, according to IBD. That puts it about 0.8% above the buy point, inside the 5% buy zone that runs to about 166.81. It is still about 12% below its 52-week high of 182.19. IBD gives it the highest possible Composite Rating of 99, and analysts expect full-year profit to grow 51% in 2026.
Why it's worth watching: Look at the volume. Shopify traded about 8.8 million shares Monday, roughly 7% below its daily average. IBD likes to see a breakout on volume at least 40% above average, because heavy volume shows big funds are buying. A breakout on light volume isn't a failure, but it is less convincing. Watch whether volume picks up over the next few days while the stock holds above 158.87.
